There’s been a lot of talk about Israel lately, and I think there’s a deeper layer we need to consider.
If God said that Israel was the chosen people what does that actually mean?
Remember: Israel was originally the name given to Jacob after he wrestled with God and prevailed. It wasn’t a label for a nation it was a spiritual identity.
To be “Israel” means to struggle, wrestle, and stay in the ring with the Divine until you come out transformed.
Now, try this on for yourself.
What does it feel like in your body when you say:
“God chose one group of people as His favorite, and the rest were left out.”
And now the opposite:
“God chooses those who choose to seek Him those who wrestle and prevail.”
Feel the difference?
That’s discernment the wisdom of your body as a living temple of Spirit.
In trauma spotting, we learn this exact practice: listening to the felt sense of truth, rather than the noise of fear or separation.
Maybe being “chosen” isn’t about bloodline or borders.
Maybe it’s about the willingness to wrestle with God and stay connected through the struggle.
