I used to think trauma healing was all about nervous system regulation helping clients feel safe, teaching them grounding techniques, giving them tools to calm down. And yes, those things matter. But here’s the hard truth: regulation alone, safety alone even if it feels permanent is not enough.
Some will say, “You can never feel safe all the time.” And I would argue: if you are truly connected to the Creator, if you feel that connection in your body, if you experience communion through a felt sense, you can be safe in every moment. And I know this because I’ve felt it. I’ve lived it.
True trauma healing goes beyond calming the nervous system. It’s about learning to listen to your body and allow it to lead, without trying to control it. The discoveries you make along the way will blow your mind they will seem illogical, impossible even and that’s exactly why your brain alone can’t find them.
When you clear out the layers of trauma, when you truly clarify the vessel, something extraordinary happens: you begin to feel the Creator’s presence in every moment, in every interaction. That’s how safety becomes constant, not situational.
