Nothing Is Ever Always: The Hidden Belief Keeping You Stuck

Nothing is ever always.

It started as a fun little phrase I made up for my son. He was such a black-and-white thinker, and I’d gently remind him “Nothing is ever always.”

Years later, after helping hundreds of people heal from trauma, I’ve realized how deeply true that statement is… and how powerfully it applies to almost everyone walking this earth.

Because here’s the thing:

When something overwhelming happens maybe in childhood, a toxic relationship, or even the military your nervous system forms a belief to protect you.

That belief becomes a rule.

A lens.

A wall.

And without realizing it, you start peanut butter spreading that belief across every area of your life.

Let me explain…

Say someone wearing red shoes hurt you. Your brain and body learned: “Red shoes = danger.”

Now your subconscious applies that across the board not just to shoes, but to people, opportunities, experiences, life itself.

That’s how trauma sneaks in to run the show.

But here’s the truth:

✨ Life is always trying to give you more. ✨

More abundance.

More love.

More freedom.

And yet… if your belief system is contracted if you’re still holding onto “all red shoes are bad” you’ll push away what’s trying to come in.

So ask yourself:

What do I believe that limits me?

What walls have I built that now imprison me?

What blanket statements have I made that keep me lacking?

Because therein lies your key to freedom.
