Did you ever notice something odd? Around the same time science stopped talking about the “god particle”, neuroscience quietly stopped using the term “god spot”, and psychology sidelined anything that even hinted at spiritual experience, something changed in us too.
Coincidence?
Or maybe… just maybe… we lost more than terminology
What if the reason so many of us feel hollow, restless, or like we’re chasing something we can’t quite name isn’t about biology, chemistry, or psychology alone?
What if it’s about the missing piece the part of us that wants to connect with the Creator, not just analyze the brain chemicals that light up when we think we’re “spiritual”?
For decades, mainstream science has narrowed its lens to focus on the measurable and dismiss the meaningful. It reduced mystery to molecules and in doing so, it may have erased the language we use to describe the part of us that yearns for transcendence, awe, and connection.
No wonder people feel empty. No wonder dopamine hits, likes, distractions, and achievements still leave us feeling… unsatisfied.
Because what the human soul actually craves isn’t a hit of neurotransmitters it’s connection, purpose, meaning, and a relationship with something greater than itself.
Not a “spot” in the brain.
Not a particle with a fancy name.
A living connection.
Something science can’t quantify… but you can feel.
So here’s a thought:
Maybe the reason we feel like something is missing
is because we’ve been looking for answers in the wrong places.
The search isn’t for more data.
It’s for deeper connection.
And it starts with acknowledging that human experience is more than just physical reactions it’s spiritual resonance.
Curious to explore this deeper scientifically, spiritually, and personally?
